1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and booking our houseboat services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Booking and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only considered confirmed once the required advance payment has been received and a confirmation voucher has been issued by My Trip Boathouse.
- Prices are subject to change based on seasonal demand and local regulations.
- Taxes and government levies are applicable as per current Kerala State laws.
- Balance payments must be settled before or upon check-in as per the specific booking terms.
3. Check-in and Check-out
Standard houseboat timings in Alleppey:
- Check-in: 12:00 PM
- Check-out: 09:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Guests must provide valid photo ID at the time of check-in.
4. Houseboat Rules & Safety
For the safety and comfort of all guests:
- Boats are stationary from 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM as per government regulations to protect fishermen's nets.
- AC timings for Deluxe and Premium boats are generally from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM unless otherwise specified.
- Smoking and loud music are restricted in certain areas of the backwaters to preserve the local ecology.
- Life jackets are provided on board and must be used during any transfer in small boats.
5. Liability
My Trip Boathouse acts as an intermediary between guests and houseboat owners. While we ensure high standards, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to baggage occurring during the trip, or delays caused by natural calamities or technical issues beyond our control.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of India. My Trip Boathouse and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Alleppey, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute.
